Collections

Whole lines,
from the first sketch.

Collections

Not every commission is one garment. I build whole lines too. A collection developed from nothing, or a wardrobe for a tour, made in the numbers a schedule actually needs.

  1. 01

    A line from scratch

Concept, line-up, patterns, samples. You arrive with a direction and a deadline. You leave with a collection that exists.

  2. 02

    Touring wardrobe

Stage clothes are built to a different standard: quick changes, hard light, and the same piece worn eighty nights in a row. Duplicates where duplicates are needed, and repairs between cities.

  3. 03

    Camera and carpet

Styling and dressing for press, campaigns, red carpet and television. A camera sees a seam you would never notice in a room, so a piece for a lens is cut to a different tolerance. Fittings on location, and someone there on the day if the schedule needs it.

  4. 04

    On demand

A line made to your order, in the quantity you need and the time you have. Small runs, made properly, rather than large ones made quickly.

Three dress forms side by side, two in calico and one with a finished dress
IDevelopment. Every line starts on the stand.
A finished gown on a rail in the atelier at dusk, city windows behind it
IISampling. The first piece decides the rest of them.
A long black cutting table with a roll of cloth waiting on it
IIIThe run. Cut, made and finished on one table.

Collection photography in preparation.

Tell me what you are building, and when it has to exist.
